Individuals who are interested in presenting papers at the conference should send a 500 word abstract to: iuea.amsef@iuea.ac.ug by August 15th 2022. The papers presented during the conference will be peer-reviewed and published as Special Issue.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS & SUBMISSION
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Authors are invited to submit an abstract in English for each paper they wish to present. The abstract should include the title, names, and affiliations of authors (including the e-mail address of the corresponding author) and 3 to 5 keywords. The abstract should summarise the context, intent, methods, finding and conclusions of the paper and be between 250 and 350 words. Please do not exceed the maximum word count. All submissions must be submitted online via the website and will be peer-reviewed.

Please bring yourPRINTED POSTER for display at the conference. To ensure that your poster is displayed at the correct session, please indicate and write at the back of the poster what session number you have been allocated.
PRESENTATION
Each registered participant is allowed to present only one paper (Keynote and Invited Presentations are not counted into this limit). A second paper can be made as a poster presentation. Co-authors can each present a paper if individually registered.
Proposal Formats
Paper Presentation: Individuals or small groups of authors are encouraged to submit proposals for paper presentation whose content could be
conveyed in 30 minutes (including question period). Among the paper presentation proposals accepted for inclusion in the program, IUEA will group 3 paper
presentations that are on a common topic or theme into one 90-minute concurrent session. IUEA will assign a moderator to the paper presentations that will be
combined into a concurrent session.
Full Panel Presentation: Small groups of authors to submit 3 distinct but thematically linked presentation proposals of 30 minutes each (including question period).
We will not accept submitted panel presentations where there is only one presenter or the 1st presenter is an author on all three presentations in the panel
presentation. Full panel presentations will be reviewed as a group presentation. IUEA will assign a moderator to each concurrent session.
Poster Presentations: Individuals or groups of authors are encouraged to submit proposals for interactive poster presentations in which they can to discuss their
work with conference participants. Poster proposals will also be peer-reviewed but there is no limit on the number of poster presentations accepted by the same author.
Guidelines for Submitting a Proposal: All proposals will be peer-reviewed and authors will be notified of the decision on their submission. The expectation is
that the lead author will communicate to the co-presenters on their proposal all relevant conference information.
At least the lead author of each accepted proposal is expected to attend and present at the conference.

- Desired presentation type (you might choose more than one format)
- 500-word Proposal Description (Abstract)
